World Water Monitoring Day concluded on October 18th, with the Boy Scouts from Troop 6 engaged in a five hour learn and serve event held at the Schrader Center. The troop completed the WWMD protocol with ease, examined a pine forest, retraced the footsteps of environmental action, and listened to Jamie Fenske, an environmental inspector, from the D.E.P. They also managed to eat 10 boxes of assorted pizza. One of the scouts was so excited to find Planaria he shouted it out with Glee! I happened to catch this moment on film.
