Who Are the ‘Faces of Leadership’ in Your Community?

People and organizations are indispensable elements of volunteerism. Their efforts are essential for improving the quality of life in local communities across West Virginia and the nation.
We’re asking readers to help identify the “Faces of Leadership” in their communities by submitting comments here at the Volunteer WV Blog.
A few questions to consider:
Who are the people and organizations that are making a local impact? What are they doing to make a difference? How have they inspired others to participate?
Your thoughts will help get the conversation going before, during, and after Volunteer West Virginia’s 2009 annual conference (July 14-16), which is themed “Faces of Leadership: Strengthening Community.”
