We’ve been making good but slow progress on our stream remediation and nature trail construction at the New River Birding & Nature Center at Wolf Creek Park (Fayette County), thanks in part to our FLOW grant.
Last weekend we even took time to begin our bird banding research program and caught a male Hooded Warbler in breeding condition. We’ll be doing banding as part of our comprehensive flora and fauna inventory of the 1,000-acre plot.
We look forward to inviting folks to an open house sometime next year.
